Microsoft has released for Beta the Mesh.com site for remote desktop access and to sync all apps and files from one online location.
What is Mesh? From what I can tell it is your own Online Desptop, where you can store data and create Icons to access your data. You can also add devices to your remote desktop for Remote Desktops access using RDP.
Just goto www.mesh.com and login using your Microsoft Live account and you will have access to your own personal Desktop. So far I have added my personal PC's to my desktop that allows me to access it from anywhere.
Once your logged in you can add your devices for sharing and syncing data from one location.

Once you've added a computer to your mesh, you can connect to it remotely from either your Live Desktop or from any other computer in your mesh.
